Disney offers a ‘Fastpass’ system to all park guests which allows you to get an ‘appointment’ to return to a ride and puts you at the front of the line. This is a FREE service and is a major time saver especially for newer attractions that commonly have wait times over 60 minutes. Simple find the Fastpass kiosks located near the entrance of the attraction, insert your park pass and it will print you a receipt with a time to return. You can then head to another area of the park and just return at your appointment time and enter the ‘Fastpass Return Entrance’ to get to the front of the line! For all the details and the complete list of attractions that offer Fastpass go here.
Tip – Only a limited number of Fastpasses are issued per day, per attraction so it is possible that for new or very popular attractions the Fastpass option may ‘sell out’ quickly.
Tip – If you get a Fastpass for one attraction you CANNOT get another Fastpass until the reservation time for your first pass expires. Example – You are at Hollywood Studios and get a Fastpass for The Tower of Terror that has a return time (reservation) for 11:00 AM. You would not be able to get another Fastpass until 11:01 AM for another ride or attraction.
